Bear Hunting in Canada

Package Description:
The basic package (Guided Service) is designed for the “Seasoned” hunter who is comfortable with doing most of things on his own such as going to and from his/her tree stand in the DARK and has the “BUSH” experience to know what to do when situations arrive. Artic-Edge would assist the hunter with the retrieval, field dressing, and the hanging of the Bear into the provided cooler. The hunter would enjoy assisting the guides to bait the site, sit in the tree stand for 3 to (4) four hours and then come back to camp to cook a gourmet meal on the barbecue and then sit around the Camp Fire telling stories of why he missed his Bear. Now that’s a full day!

• Housekeeping Cottage on the shoreline of Lake Weslemkoon. (See Accommodations)
• Arrival Sunday, departure Saturday, 11:00 A.M.
• Bring/Cook own food
• Guaranteed active bait sites
• Bear Sites are baited daily. (Assistance appreciated)
• Assistance with – Retrieving – Field Dressing – Skinning and Quartering of the kill
• Arrangements can be made to have the meat cut and wrapped
• Use of fishing boat and motor for your fishing pleasure (Lake Weslemkoon is noted for its Large & Small Mouth Bass)
• A Cooler/freezer is available for the harvest

$975.00 U.S. Funds per person. (Licenses and Taxes Extra)
$350 U.S. non-refundable deposit per person is required to confirm your reservation with the balance required 45 days (July 15) before your arrival. All cancellations affect our business significantly, especially last minute cancellations and/or “No Shows”. With short notice, it is impossible to re-book cottages, boat rentals, or hunting packages.

All hunting – fishing licenses and Export Permits will be the responsibility of the hunter.

Artic-Edge operates its bear hunts starting September 1, 2007.

All non-resident hunters must bring a copy of a current or past hunting license in order to be able to hunt in Ontario.

Services
Arrangements can be made with Artic-Edge to grocery shop to your menu/grocery list or Artic-Edge would establish a menu and shop accordingly. All we would need from the hunting party would be the number of hunters expected and we would deliver the groceries to your cabin door. The price of the groceries and a $75.00 delivery fee would be charged to the hunting party.
