Because we are able to offer many different species of fish (Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Speckled Trout, Splake and Large/Small mouth Bass, we can arrange a fishing package to suit your needs. Everything from the excellent Bass Fishing on Lake Weslemkoon to the many different lakes in the region that offer different species of fish. We can arrange for a spring/summer fishing excursion or we can set up a winter ice fishing weekend. You make the call. For all you Quad/ATV, Skidoo enthusiasts, Artic-Edge can arrange a week/weekend excursion onto the many different trails available in the Addington Highland region. Working with Tanglewood Marina, (www.tanglewoodmarina.ca) we are able to provide comfortable / housekeeping cabins with all the necessary utensils to cook a gourmet meal, to having a hot shower after a hard day in the bush. Artic-Edge Outfitters is owned and operated by the Father/Son Team of Ralph and Kevin Seamons who have in excess of 75 man years of hunting and fishing in North America. The experiences have included everything from hunting Elk/Sheep in the foothills of the Rockies, fishing for salmon in the Atlantic/Pacific oceans to Bear/Whitetail bow hunting in the different regions of North America. Black Bear Bow Hunting: Artic-Edge is known for their focus to provide the services for the Bow Hunters of North America. The Bear Management Area consists of 290 Sq. and has in excess of 50 bait sites. Many of the bait sites have built in tree stands with other sites planned for the individual with their own tree stands. Our total focus is to provide the best service available [Three Packages] and to assist you towards a safe and successful bow hunt. Whitetail Bow Hunting: The many acres of Crown land available produces not only a good quantity of Whitetail deer, it also provides the bow hunter the opportunity to harvest a trophy Whitetail Buck. Tanglewood Marina www.tanglewoodmarina.ca will provide the accommodations and Artic-Edge Outfitters will assist you towards the harvest of a White-Tail deer. Fishing: Spring/Summer – Winter Ice Fishing Not only is there excellent Bass (Small & Large mouth) in Lake Weslemkoon, the lake can offer excellent opportunities for Lake Trout. Within a half hour radius of Tanglewood Marina, Artic-Edge Outfitters can guide you and your party to your “Fish of Choice”. Whether you have a craving for a Rainbow, Speckled Trout, Splake etc. etc., Artic-Edge will be able to provide the service that will fit your needs. Also, when the ice becomes safe enough to fish, Artic-Edge can and will design a package to fill you and your party needs. Quad / ATV / Snowmobile: The many trails in the region offer opportunities for the individuals to explore on their snowmobiles and/or Quads. Arrangements can be made to provide a guide to travel the many different trails available or you can take off for the day to explore on your own. |
